There are many charities collecting donations, both financial and supplies. The fastest way to help is to donate to a D.E.C. appeal by donating online. Alternatively you can ring 01204 770822.

You can also make a donation via the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal. 

The Charity Commission and Fundraising Regulator have urged people to "give safely" to registered charities helping and supporting those affected by the invasion of Ukraine.

Anyone wishing to sponsor (provide a home) for someone to live in the UK for a minimum of 6 months can find the latest government advice https://homesforukraine.campaign.gov.uk

To make a donation towards the UN's humanitarian work - Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund UN Crisis Relief. The Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal fund is also accepting donations.

If you are a resident with friends or family in Ukraine and need information or support about what is happening, you can contact the Ukrainian Embassy. Advice on temporary concessions for Ukrainian nationals applying to join a family route

Be aware that West Devon County Council will be conducting Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks as part of the sponsorship approval process.
